About Us |
Our experienced trial attorneys handle a variety of complex
disputes involving commercial, corporate, serious personal
injury, contract, construction and real property tax
assessment issues. Each of the attorneys is admitted in all
of the Courts of the State of New York as well as the United
States Federal District Court and the United States Second
Circuit Court of Appeals.
The objective of our firm’s practice approach is to provide
a broad range of consultation and advocacy-oriented legal
services tailored to each clients’ particular needs. Our

STEPHEN J. REHFUSS, ESQ.,
was born in Albany, New York on January 14, 1959. He is a
graduate of Siena College (Cum Laude), Albany Law School of
Union University and is admitted to practice in the State of
New York, United States Federal District Court, Northern
District of New York, the United States Second Circuit Court
of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. He served
as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Albany
from 1985 - 1992. He has gained extensive trial experience
in the areas of municipal and civil rights litigation and
has been retained by numerous municipalities and public
housing authorities in this regard. He is currently a member
of the Albany County and the New York State Bar
Associations, the New York State Trial Lawyers Association,
and the Capital District Trial Lawyers Association.
Mr. Rehfuss was a high school and college All American in
swimming and is currently an active participant in
triathlons. He is a two time participant in the Lake Placid
Ironman triathlon. Mr. Rehfuss is involved in a number of
charitable and community activities. He currently resides in
Latham with his wife and six children.

JOHN W. LIGUORI, ESQ.,
was born in Patchogue, Long Island on December 17, 1966. He
is a graduate of Bryant College, Western New England
College, School of Law and is admitted to practice in the
State of New York, United States Federal District Court for
the Northern and Southern Districts of New York, the United
States Court of Appeals, Second Circuit, and the United
States Supreme Court. He served as an Assistant Public
Defender for the Albany County Public Defender’s Office from
1993-1994. He has extensive experience in the areas of civil
litigation with a concentration in municipal and personal
injury law. Other areas of practice include estates and
probate, commercial and residential real estate and landlord
tenant law. He is a member of the Albany County Bar
Association and is a charter member of the New York State
Academy of Trial Lawyers. |

Nikki C. Pappas, Esq., was born in Niskayuna, New
York on March 20, 1985. She is a graduate of Fordham
University (Cum Laude) and Villanova University School of
Law. She is currently admitted to practice in the States of
New York and New Jersey. Prior to joining Rehfuss, Liguori &
Associates, she completed a clerkship with the Appellate
Division Third Department. She is currently a member of the
New York State Bar Association, the Albany County Bar
Association and the American Bar Association. |
